- Manage day-to-day Quality Control activities for herbal extracts, raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

- Perform and supervise chemical, physical, and microbiological analysis as per approved specifications and test methods.

- Ensure testing of herbal raw materials, extracts, solvents, and finished products as per established quality standards.

- Review and approve analytical test reports, COAs, specifications, and laboratory records.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Handle and review HPLC, GC, UV-Visible, FTIR, moisture, pH, and other analytical instruments as applicable.

- Ensure proper calibration, qualification, maintenance, and documentation of QC laboratory instruments.

- Investigate OOS, OOT, deviations, and analytical discrepancies and support CAPA implementation.

- Coordinate with Production, QA, R&D;, and Stores for timely release and testing of materials and products.





- Maintain proper laboratory documentation, logbooks, worksheets, and analytical records.

- Support method validation, method verification, analytical method transfer, and stability studies.

- Monitor laboratory activities and ensure adherence to safety and positive laboratory practices.

- Guide and supervise QC executives and analysts and ensure effective utilization of laboratory resources.

- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of QC-related observations.

- Prepare and review QC reports, trends, and analytical data and communicate critical quality issues to management.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, laboratory practices, and quality systems within the herbal extraction facility.
