Role Description The Assistant Manager will support branch and operational activities, ensuring smooth delivery of banking services at the Bengaluru on-site location. This full-time role includes overseeing daily customer service interactions, assisting with account opening, transactions, and service requests, and resolving queries in a timely and professional manner.

Manager will help monitor branch performance, implement process improvements, and support compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The role will also involve coordinating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports and documentation, and supporting sales efforts related to banking products and mutual fund distribution.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship management abilities, with a focus on delivering clear, courteous, and solution-oriented support.
- Solid understanding of retail banking operations, including account servicing, transaction handling, and basic product knowledge (savings, deposits, loans, and investment products).
- Ability to work with technology-driven banking systems, including core banking platforms, CRM tools, and digital channels.
- Positive analytical and numerical skills to review reports, track performance metrics, and support risk and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with branch staff, sales teams, and support functions.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field; prior experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
- Awareness of basic regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to small finance banking and mutual fund distribution.
