Manager / Assistant Manager / – Commercial Insurance Underwriting Operations We are looking for an experienced Insurance Operations Manager / Commercial Underwriting SME with 10+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Insurance Underwriting . The role requires strong expertise in the insurance lifecycle, commercial underwriting, insurance operations, process governance, quality management, stakeholder management, and people leadership . The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and business/domain expert, managing complex operational activities, driving process excellence, developing teams, and partnering with UK and local stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed SLA, TAT, quality, and productivity standards . Manage and oversee Commercial Insurance Underwriting Operations and end-to-end insurance processes. Demonstrate strong understanding of the Insurance Lifecycle , including underwriting, policy administration, endorsements, renewals, claims interface, billing, and related operational processes. Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in Commercial Insurance Underwriting and Insurance Operations. Manage team capacity, productivity, performance, and resource utilization.



Contribute to policy formulation, process governance, controls, and risk management . Ensure adherence to quality, SLA, TAT, productivity, compliance, and governance requirements. Identify operational risks, escalate critical issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Lead quality assurance, process controls, audit readiness, and governance activities. Build domain capability through training, knowledge management, best-practice sharing, and SME support . Manage team deliverables and ensure consistent operational performance. Partner with UK-based clients, local management, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams . Participate in client discussions, operational reviews, governance meetings, and performance management forums. Communicate complex operational, accounting, and process-related issues effectively to senior management and stakeholders. Identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation, process simplification, and operational efficiency . Establish and promote best practices across Commercial Insurance Underwriting Operations.
