Role Description The Assistant Manager Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Mau, responsible for supporting end-to-end project execution in line with KEC’s EPC standards and timelines. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to track project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Projects will handle expediting activities, oversee inspections, support logistics planning, and assist in resolving operational bottlenecks. Day-to-day tasks include preparing project reports, maintaining documentation, participating in review meetings, and contributing to compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements. The role also requires continuous follow-up with stakeholders to maintain project milestones and budget adherence.
Qualifications
- Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of project materials and services.
- Project Management capabilities, including scheduling, coordination, and progress monitoring.
- Inspection skills to support quality checks and compliance with technical specifications.
- Logistics Management skills for planning, tracking, and optimizing movement of equipment and materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or a related technical field.
- Experience in infrastructure, EPC, or construction projects, preferably in transmission, railways, or civil works.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mau, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to dynamic project environments.
