Inviting applications for Assistant Manager – MEP Operations in the Estate & Administration team, MICA.

The role will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and reliability of campus MEP systems, along with coordination with internal teams, vendors, contractors and specialist agencies to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted functioning of campus infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing day-to-day MEP operations, preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance across the campus.
- Monitoring and maintaining electrical systems, DG sets, transformers, HVAC, plumbing, pumps, STP/WTP and other building services.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring timely resolution of breakdowns and service disruptions.
- Planning and monitoring preventive maintenance schedules and maintaining relevant service records.
- Supervising and coordinating MEP vendors, contractors and service agencies.
- Inspecting MEP installations and ensuring adherence to required safety, quality and operational standards.
- Supporting MEP-related upgrades, modifications and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinating fire safety systems, including fire pumps, hydrants,



extinguishers, fire alarms and related provisions, along with inspections, testing, documentation and statutory compliance.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for effective and uninterrupted functioning of campus infrastructure.

Eligibility:

- Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Building Services Engineering; Electrical background preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in MEP operations, facilities management or building services.
- Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining MEP systems in institutional, commercial, industrial or large residential campuses.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, pumps, STP/WTP and fire-fighting systems.
- Solid troubleshooting, vendor coordination and team management skills.
- Knowledge/experience in fire safety systems is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site and stay on campus is essential.
- Experience in stores/material management will be an added advantage.
