Roles &

Responsibilities

1. To monitor & lead sourcing, recent supplier identification & part development activities of Chassis 1 section (Fuel System, Steering, Brakes, Suspension, Urea System, Chassis Module FR & RR, Drive Shaft System, Front Cross Member, CTBA, etc.).
2. Air Con, Air Intake, Exhaust, Controls, Hose/Tube, Tyre, Wheel, Anti-Vibration Parts, Tool & Jack, Hardware, etc.

3. Electric Vehicle & Engine Transmission – to monitor & lead sourcing.
4. Price finalization of Chassis 1 section parts.
5. To lead and monitor all development initiatives within the Chassis 1 section.

6. Vendor process/quality stabilization & sign-off of the parts for mass production.
7. Planning & enhancing vendor capacity.
8. Vendor management & stabilization of vendor in terms of quality and delivery.

9. Achieve yearly cost reduction activity target.
10. Purchase order management, localization activities.

Coordinate with cross-functional team to ensure smooth, flawless launch & meeting production requirements.

12. Prepare reports on purchases like supplier & developmental issues, bench marking, price analyses, price reduction proposals, VAVE.
13. On-time updating Business Plan Status to management.
14. To track & lead Chassis 1 section to meet management-assigned tasks.

Languages: English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu

Required Competencies

- Proven work experience in Purchasing field, preferably in Chassis Parts. OEM, Tier 1 experience is preferred.
- Skill-set of Part/Vendor development, price negotiation, bench marking analysis, zero-based costing.
