Job Summary

- We are looking for an experienced CAPEX Procurement skilled with 5-10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably across API/Formulation Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end CAPEX procurement for pharmaceutical
- Procure Plant & Machinery, Process Equipment, Utilities, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical and Engineering items.
- Review BOQ, URS, technical specifications, drawings and project requirements.
- Prepare and issue RFQs to suitable OEMs, manufacturers and suppliers.
- Identify, develop and evaluate new vendors/OEMs based on technical and commercial requirements.
- Obtain and analyze technical and commercial quotations from suppliers.
- Prepare Techno-Commercial Comparisons (TBE/CBE) and recommend suitable vendors.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects and Design teams for technical clarification and offer evaluation.
- Conduct commercial negotiations for price, payment terms, delivery, warranty, taxes, freight and other commercial conditions.
- Perform TCO analysis,



cost benchmarking and cost-saving/value-engineering activities.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) through SAP MM.
- Track PO acknowledgement, manufacturing progress, inspection, dispatch and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers for expediting and timely delivery of critical equipment and materials.
- Coordinate with Stores and Finance for material receipt, invoice processing and payment-related issues.
- Monitor CAPEX budget, committed cost, actual cost and procurement savings.
- Prepare MIS, procurement status reports, open PO reports and project procurement dashboards.
- Support successful project completion and closure of all procurement-related activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. MBA/PGDM in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations will be an added advantage.
