Assistant Hub Incharge

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Hub Incharge to support the Hub Incharge in managing day-to-day hub operations. The candidate will be responsible for last-mile operations, rider management, fleet coordination, inventory, shipment handling, and team supervision.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in logistics or last-mile operations and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Hub Operations

Support the Hub Incharge in managing daily hub operations.

Monitor inbound and outbound shipment movement.

Ensure timely receiving, sorting, scanning, staging, and dispatch of shipments.

Ensure delivery operations are completed within defined TAT and SLA.

Monitor daily hub performance and resolve operational issues.

Ensure adherence to company SOPs and safety standards.

Rider Management

Coordinate with delivery riders and ensure adequate rider availability.

Support rider hiring, onboarding, and activation.

Monitor rider attendance, login hours, productivity, and performance.

Coordinate rider deployment based on daily delivery requirements.

Address rider queries and operational concerns.

Support rider engagement and retention initiatives.

Fleet Management

Monitor fleet availability and utilization.

Ensure vehicles are deployed according to operational requirements.

Track vehicle availability, usage, and basic maintenance requirements.

Coordinate with relevant teams for vehicle-related issues.

Maintain accurate fleet records.

Inventory & Shipment Management

Monitor shipment and inventory movement within the hub.

Ensure proper scanning and system updates.





Conduct regular shipment/inventory reconciliation.

Identify missing, damaged, excess, or undelivered shipments.

Ensure timely closure of inventory and shipment discrepancies.

Team Management

Supervise hub associates and support staff.

Allocate daily tasks according to operational requirements.

Monitor team attendance and productivity.

Train team members on SOPs and operational processes.

Support manpower planning and ensure process discipline.

Reporting & Performance

Track daily hub KPIs including delivery TAT, rider productivity, fleet utilization, and shipment accuracy.

Prepare daily operational MIS reports.

Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Escalate critical operational issues to the Hub Incharge.

Support achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Last Mile Operations, Hub Operations, Fleet Management, or Logistics Operations.

Experience in Rider Management and Rider Onboarding.

Knowledge of inventory and shipment management.

Experience in team handling and manpower coordination.

Positive knowledge of local geography, routes, and pincodes.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and operational MIS.

Ability to work in rotational shifts and a fast-paced environment.
