Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Civil Field Operations to supervise and coordinate field activities related to civil engineering and construction material testing services. The candidate will be responsible for managing field teams, coordinating with clients and project sites, monitoring work quality, and ensuring timely completion of assigned activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day civil field activities at project sites.
- Manage and guide field engineers, technicians, and assistants.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Plan and allocate manpower and testing equipment based on project requirements.
- Monitor field testing activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved procedures and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with the laboratory team for sample collection, testing, and reporting.
- Review daily field reports, test records, and site documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of field assignments and client requirements.
- Attend client/site meetings and address field-related queries.
- Monitor the availability and proper handling of testing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.




- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned technical team for resolution.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly field activity reports to management.
- Support business development and client coordination whenever required.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Candidates with relevant field experience in civil testing or construction projects will be preferred.

Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in civil field operations, construction, site supervision, or construction material testing.
- Experience handling a field team will be an added advantage.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of civil engineering and construction activities.
- Good knowledge of field testing and construction material testing.
- Team management and manpower coordination.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Email communication.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
