Assistant Film Director

We are looking for a creative, organized, and passionate Assistant Film Director to support the conceptualization and execution of video content for digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling and production, hands-on experience on set, and the ability to work closely with directors and creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Director in conceptualizing and executing video content for advertisements, brand films, social media, and digital campaigns
- Support the development of scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans
- Coordinate with cinematographers, actors, production crew, and other departments during shoots
- Assist with casting, location scouting, scheduling, and other pre-production activities
- Help manage shoot schedules and ensure scenes are executed according to the creative vision
- Maintain continuity, shot requirements, and on-set coordination
- Assist the Director in communicating creative requirements to the production team
- Support post-production teams during editing, color grading, sound design, and final output
- Ensure content follows brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Help manage production timelines, resources, and day-to-day requirements




- Stay updated with current filmmaking techniques, social media formats, and digital video trends

Requirements

- 1+ year of experience as an Assistant Director, Junior Director, or in a similar video production role
- Basic understanding of filmmaking, cinematography, lighting, editing, and production workflows
- Experience working on commercials, advertisements, social media content, short films, or digital campaigns
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and work effectively with creative and production teams
- Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Strong attention to detail and continuity

Preferred Skills

- Experience in digital marketing or advertising campaigns
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other short-form video formats
- Basic knowledge of editing software and post-production workflows
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability on set
- Passion for filmmaking, visual storytelling, and emerging content trends

Experience Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
