Role Description This is an in office internship role for an Assistant Fashion Designer based in Bandra.

The Assistant Fashion

Designer will support the design team with sketching concepts, preparing technical drawings, and assisting in the development of recent collections. Daily tasks include coordinating fabric and trim selections, sourcing,helping with embroidery applications, and ensuring accurate fittings. The role also involves organizing samples and materials, updating design boards, and maintaining clear documentation of design changes and measurements.



Interns will collaborate with designer, attend fittings, and gain hands-on exposure to the full design and production process.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion, including sketching, concept development, and understanding of trends.
- Knowledge of Textiles and Embroidery, with the ability to support fabric selection and embellishment techniques.
- Practical experience or training in Fitting, garment construction, and basic pattern adjustments.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design or related program.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow design direction accurately.
- Comfort working on-site in a studio environment and collaborating with a small creative team.
- Basic proficiency with design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or similar) is an advantage.
