Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager role at MR DIY India is a full-time, on-site position based in Patiala. This role supports the Branch Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including staff supervision, work scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

The Assistant Branch

Manager helps drive sales performance, monitors inventory levels, coordinates merchandising and visual displays, and ensures that pricing and promotions are executed accurately. Day-to-day responsibilities include resolving customer queries, maintaining a protected and clean store environment, tracking key performance indicators, and preparing basic reports on sales, staffing, and store performance.



The role also involves coaching team members, supporting training initiatives, and contributing to a positive, service-oriented culture in the branch.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong retail operations and store management skills, including inventory handling, merchandising, and cash management.
- Candidates should possess people management capabilities, such as team supervision, staff training, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle queries, manage escalations, and maintain a welcoming store environment.
- Candidates should possess basic sales and business acumen, including understanding of sales targets, KPIs, and promotional activities.
- Candidates should possess organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Relevant experience in retail, FMCG, or customer-facing store environments is preferred, ideally in a supervisory or team lead role.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, retail management, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and proficiency in basic computer and POS systems are advantageous.
