Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of utility equipment and systems.

- Ensure availability of compressors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, DG sets, HVAC and water treatment systems.

- Monitor and maintain HT/LT electrical distribution, transformers, UPS and DG systems in coordination with the electrical team.

- Manage RO/DM/ETP/STP and plant water distribution systems.

- Ensure reliable operation of steam, compressed air, cooling water, gas/fuel and other utility systems.

- Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for energy and cost reduction.

- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment.

- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and environmental requirements related to utility operations.

- Maintain utility-related records, checklists, logbooks and performance reports.

- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

- Manage contractors and technicians involved in utility operations and maintenance.

- Support CAPEX projects, equipment installation, commissioning and improvement projects.
