Hiring: Artist Representative & Brand Lead (Exclusive Desk) | MARS Management

Location: Remote / Remote-first (Mumbai, Delhi-NCR & Lucknow preferred)

Engagement: Full-time / Part-time, depending on candidate

Pay: Monthly Base Retainer + Commission on Deals

Context:

At MARS Management, we build hip-hop communities, run live IPs, and help brands tap into underground music culture.

This is not a traditional operational coordinator role. The outreach pipelines, brand network, industry relationships and pitch roadmaps are already established through MARS Management.

We’re looking for a sharp front-face and strategic thinker who can represent R-Mridul professionally, command business conversations, understand his lyrical and cultural POV, and help build him into a distinctive, high-value artist brand.

Built-in Guidance: R-Mridul is himself a founder, community builder and experienced music-business professional. The selected candidate will work closely with him and the MARS Management ecosystem, receiving direct guidance on industry communication, business development, artist positioning and relationship building while gradually taking ownership of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be the Face on Calls: Jump on Zoom/Google Meet calls with brands, agencies, and event teams to pitch and represent R-Mridul.
- Commercial Representation: Represent R-Mridul and MARS Management in brand meetings, agency discussions and industry interactions.
- Close Deals: Track leads, manage professional communication, follow up on existing leads and warm contacts, talk numbers, and coordinate opportunities (brand campaigns, music projects etc.) from initial conversation to closure
- Build the Artist Brand: Brainstorm ways to take existing music and content ideas and package them into strong pitches for lifestyle and youth brands.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with brands, agencies, event companies,



curators and industry professionals.
- Social Media & Aesthetic Eye (Bonus): Have a good sense of style and visual feel. Help give inputs on how the artist’s Instagram looks, how decks look, and how the brand is visually presented.

What We Expect:

- Strong Communication: Clear, confident and professional verbal & written communication.
- Hip-Hop & Cultural Fluency: Genuine interest in Indian Hip-Hop, music, regional culture and youth culture.
- Business Understanding: Ability to understand commercial conversations, opportunities and basic deal terms.
- Aesthetic Eye: Good understanding of digital curation, visual storytelling and artist branding.
- Professional Discipline: Punctual, disciplined calendar hygiene, proactive communication, and reliable follow-ups.
- Artist Understanding: Ability to understand and authentically represent R-Mridul’s music, personality and creative POV.

Prior artist-management experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We are open to passionate newcomers or professionals transitioning from events, media, marketing, PR, sales or other relevant industries.

You don't need to build the network from scratch. You need to be capable of representing one.

- Remote & Adaptable: ~18–25 hours/week, with availability for scheduled weekday calls and important meetings.
- Hybrid Compensation: Fixed monthly retainer + direct commission on closed brand campaigns, syncs, and live bookings.
