AI Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience in Generative AI, LLMs, AI application development, and Python. The candidate will develop production-ready AI capabilities, evaluate suitable AI technologies, and work closely with engineering teams to integrate AI into scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for product use cases.
- Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Build, integrate, test, and productionize AI capabilities within software applications.
- Evaluate AI models and select appropriate approaches based on project requirements, quality, cost, latency, and security considerations.
- Develop and improve AI workflows, prompts, evaluation methods, and model performance.
- Build proof-of-concepts and convert successful solutions into production-ready implementations.




- Establish practical standards and best practices for AI development and integration.
- Review AI implementations and provide technical guidance to developers.
- Mentor team members and promote effective AI engineering practices.
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and identify relevant opportunities for the product.
- Ensure AI solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, maintainable, and suitable for production use.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML or AI Engineering.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
- Solid understanding of prompt engineering and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar.
- Experience with embeddings and vector databases.
- Good understanding of AI model evaluation and performance improvement.
- Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP is an advantage, with Azure experience preferred.
- Valuable communication and team collaboration skills.
