Role Description The Article Trainee will support audit, taxation, and advisory assignments under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, maintaining documentation, and performing basic accounting and compliance tasks. The trainee will help in drafting reports, conducting research on tax and regulatory matters, and coordinating with clients for information and clarifications.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai,



with structured learning and exposure to practical aspects of the Chartered Accountancy profession.

Qualifications

- Progress toward Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g., CA Inter or equivalent) and a strong academic foundation in accounting, taxation, and auditing.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, auditing procedures, and basic direct and indirect tax concepts.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work with accounting or audit software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear working papers and reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time well, and handle multiple assignments under supervision.
- High level of integrity, professional conduct, eagerness to learn, and openness to constructive feedback.
- Prior internship or practical training experience in an audit or accounting workplace is an advantage but not mandatory.
