Pramod Kumar & Co. is a Chartered Accountancy firm in practice for more than 40 years, serving clients across India and internationally. The firm's services span auditing and assurance, taxation, insolvency professional services, fundraising support, project feasibility studies and foreign entity set-up in India. We are looking for a CA Article Trainee to join our team and gain hands-on exposure to accounting, taxation, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance and audit work under the guidance of senior partners and finance professionals.

This role is suited to a CA student looking to build strong practical knowledge alongside their CA studies, with real client-facing exposure across audit and taxation assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update books of accounts and accounting records for client engagements, including day-to-day accounting entries and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare and support bank, customer, vendor and other account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, schedules and supporting workings.
- Support GST compliance, including preparing data and supporting documents for GST returns.
- Support TDS compliance, including TDS workings, reconciliations and documentation.
- Assist in preparing information and documents required for income-tax and other statutory compliances. • Support the team during statutory, tax and internal audit assignments, including preparing audit schedules and working papers.
- Verify vouchers, invoices, expenses and other financial records.
- Analyse financial data and help identify discrepancies in client accounting records.
- Maintain proper documentation and working papers for audit and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with client teams to collect required financial and supporting information.
- Take on other accounting,



taxation and audit-related assignments as directed by partners and senior team members.

Skills Required:

- Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Understanding of GST, TDS and Income Tax fundamentals.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel.
- Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and numerical ability, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and financial information.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Eligibility:

- Pursuing CA under the current ICAI scheme and eligible for Practical Training / Articleship (both groups of CA Intermediate cleared and ICITSS completed, as per ICAI requirements).
- Candidates who have recently cleared CA Intermediate will be preferred.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates already undergoing practical training and looking to transfer may also be considered, subject to applicable ICAI rules.
- Willing to work full-time and complete the required practical-training formalities and registrations on the ICAI portal.

Learning & Exposure:

The selected candidate will get practical exposure to accounting and bookkeeping, bank and ledger reconciliation, financial statement preparation, GST and TDS compliance, income-tax related work, statutory and tax audit support and documentation, financial analysis, Excel and accounting software, and client engagements across industries. Depending on assignment, trainees may also get exposure to insolvency-related work, fundraising support and project feasibility studies, in line with the practical training areas ICAI expects CA students to be exposed to.
