Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Retail Sales

Locations: Sonepat | Karnal | Ambala

Function: Sales & Distribution Experience: 5–10 years in retail/channel sales (preferably paints,

building materials, or related FMCG/industrial products)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive retail sales growth across Sonepat, Karnal, and Ambala. The ideal candidate will have robust command over secondary sales execution, demand generation activities, and a proven track record of building relationships with painters, architects, and contractors to grow brand influence at the ground level.

Key Responsibilities

 Drive secondary sales targets across the assigned territory through effective dealer and retailer management

 Plan and execute demand generation activities to build brand pull and increase market penetration

 Develop and maintain strong relationships with painters, contractors, architects, and interior designers to generate influencer-led business

 Conduct regular market visits to track dealer stock, scheme implementation, and competitor activity

 Identify and onboard new dealers/retailers to expand distribution network





 Organize painter meets, contractor engagement programs, and architect connect activities

 Monitor and report primary/secondary sales data, market trends, and territory performance

 Coordinate with the marketing team for local promotional activities and BTL initiatives

 Ensure timely collection and resolution of dealer/retailer queries and complaints

Desired Candidate Profile

 Graduate/MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred

 5–10 years of relevant experience in retail/channel sales, ideally in paints, building materials,

or allied industries

 Sound knowledge of secondary sales processes and demand generation strategies

 Proven experience in liaisoning with painters, architects, and contractors

 Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

 Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

 Local market knowledge of Sonepat, Karnal, and Ambala will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
