About Walnut CDC

Walnut Child Development Clinic is a pediatric-focused child development organization providing multidisciplinary services for children with developmental, behavioral, neurological, and related needs.

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager / Medical Representative with strong exposure to the Pediatrics / Child Development segment. The candidate will be responsible for doctor outreach, relationship management, marketing, brand awareness, and patient referral generation for Walnut CDC.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Pediatricians, Pediatric Neurologists, Developmental Pediatricians, and other relevant specialists.
- Conduct regular doctor visits within the assigned territory.
- Generate quality patient referrals through effective doctor engagement and relationship management.
- Create awareness among medical professionals about Walnut CDC's pediatric services and multidisciplinary approach.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with doctors and key referral partners.
- Identify recent doctors and referral opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with doctors and track referral opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of doctor visits, interactions, and referral activities.
- Achieve referral-generation objectives through effective territory planning and management.

Important Scope of the Role

This is a Doctor Outreach and Referral Generation role.

- Only visits to Pediatricians, Pediatric Neurologists, Developmental Pediatricians, and relevant specialists are required.
- No chemist visits.
- No stockist visits.




- No primary sales targets.
- No secondary sales targets.
- No product distribution responsibilities.
- The primary focus is doctor engagement, relationship building, and patient referral generation.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any relevant discipline; pharmaceutical / medical sales background preferred / Healthcare Marketing Background.
- 5–7+ years of experience as a Senior Medical Representative, Area Business Manager (ABM), Area Sales Manager (ASM), Regional Business Manager (RBM), or similar role.
- Strong experience in the Pediatrics / Child Development segment is preferred.
- Existing exposure and doctor-connect within the assigned territory will be an advantage.
- Strong relationships with Pediatricians and Pediatric Specialists.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-management and networking abilities.
- Self-driven and comfortable with field-based work.
- Ability to independently manage an assigned territory.
- Age: Below 40 years.

We are looking for an experienced pediatrics-focused medical/healthcare professional who has strong relationships with pediatricians and pediatric specialists and is comfortable working primarily on doctor engagement, professional relationship building, and patient referral generation.

The role does not involve chemist/stockist visits or primary/secondary sales responsibilities.
