Positions: Architectural Draughtsman

About the Role: Profound Group is looking for an experienced and skilled Architectural Draughtsman to join our team at Kondapur, Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, detailed 2D plans, elevations, sections, working drawings, and 3D models for various residential, commercial, and villa projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other architectural design software, along with knowledge of modern AI-based design and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and working drawings.
- Develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D architectural models based on architectural concepts and design requirements.
- Create and modify BIM models using Revit Architecture.
- Prepare detailed drawings for construction, including dimensions, annotations, schedules and specifications.
- Develop floor plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts and other related drawings as required.
- Prepare detailed working drawings and construction drawings for execution at site.
- Create 3D models, walkthroughs, renders and architectural visualizations.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants and site teams.
- Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, specifications and compliance with project requirements.
- Make revisions and modifications based on architect, management and site requirements.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to understand practical construction requirements and resolve drawing-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings and project files.
- Prepare drawings as per applicable architectural and construction standards.




- Assist architects and project managers in developing design concepts and presentations.
- Convert conceptual designs into detailed and technically accurate drawings.
- Visit project sites when required to understand existing conditions and take measurements.
- Ensure timely completion of drawings and assigned design deliverables.

Software Skills Required: The candidate should have strong working knowledge of the following:

AI & Modern Design Tools: The candidate should be comfortable using AI-assisted architectural and design tools to improve productivity, visualization and presentation quality. Knowledge of tools such as:

- AI image generation and visualization tools
- AI-assisted architectural rendering tools
- AI tools for concept development and design ideation
- AI-assisted drafting/documentation tools
- ChatGPT and similar AI productivity tools
- AI-based rendering, enhancement and presentation tools

Candidates who actively use AI tools along with conventional architectural software will be preferred. Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of architectural drafting and construction drawings.
- Excellent command of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Good understanding of architectural plans, sections, elevations and details.




- Strong 3D modelling and visualization skills.
- Ability to understand architectural concepts and convert them into technical drawings.
- Good understanding of building construction and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with architects, engineers and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new software, AI tools and emerging design technologies.

Educational Qualification Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architectural Technology or a related field.

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant skilled experience as an Architectural Draughtsman / Architectural Draftsman / BIM Draughtsman / Architectural Designer.
- Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, villas, office or large-scale construction projects will be preferred.

What We Are Looking For

- We are looking for someone who is not only a traditional draughtsman but can work across 2D drafting + BIM + 3D modelling + visualization + AI-assisted design.
- The candidate should be able to take a concept or sketch and develop it into detailed architectural drawings, Revit models, 3D designs and presentation-ready visualizations.

Work Location: Kondapur, Hyderabad, Telangana Working Days: Monday to Saturday
