Deccan Terrain Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and motivated Architect to join our team working on heritage conservation, restoration, adaptive reuse and architectural projects.

The candidate will work closely with our conservation and design team on documentation, architectural drawings, site surveys, restoration proposals and presentation material for heritage and contemporary projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in heritage documentation and measured drawings of historic buildings and structures.
- Develop 3D models and architectural visualisations using SketchUp.
- Prepare high-quality renders using Lumion, Enscape or other rendering software.
- Collaborate with architects, conservation professionals and the design team to develop innovative and context-sensitive design concepts.
- Prepare presentation drawings, reports and project presentations using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Conduct site visits, surveys and measurements and assist in documenting existing conditions.
- Assist in preparing restoration, conservation and adaptive reuse drawings.
- Coordinate with site teams and assist in monitoring execution as per approved drawings and design intent.
- Research traditional architectural materials, construction techniques and heritage building elements where required.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, BOQs, reports and other technical deliverables.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with an interest or experience in heritage architecture, conservation, restoration, adaptive reuse, traditional building materials or historic structures will be preferred.

Fresh graduates with strong technical skills and a genuine interest in heritage conservation may also be considered.
