Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Bengaluru. The Architect will be responsible for developing concept designs, detailed architectural plans, and interior layouts for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with clients to understand requirements, preparing design presentations, selecting materials and finishes, and ensuring that designs align with House of Meda’s principles of intentional, timeless, and human-centered spaces. The role involves collaborating with designers, consultants, and contractors, overseeing site execution, and ensuring that projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.



The Architect will also participate in project planning, documentation, and continuous design refinement based on feedback and site conditions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into functional, detailed plans.
- Candidates should possess relevant Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and oversight of site execution.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Integration between architectural design and interior design, structural systems, building services, and materials.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts only as they relate to design tools and workflows (e.g., BIM, CAD, and collaboration platforms).
- Proficiency in design and documentation software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and strong visualization and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, with relevant professional experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and permitting processes in Bengaluru and broader Indian regulations.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a studio and on-site environment.
