Role Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically adept Application & Technical Proposal Engineer to join our team at our Gurgaon office. In this role, you will be the core technical bridge between customer inquiries, sales targets, and detailed engineering execution. You will review tender requirements, perform equipment selection, and fan application calculations, prepare comprehensive techno-commercial proposals, and align directly with both local project teams and our technical headquarters in Germany to ensure competitive, fully compliant bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze customer technical specifications, inquiry documents, and Request for Quotations (RFQs) for industrial fans and heavy rotating equipment.
- Perform aerodynamic sizing, thermodynamic calculations, mechanical equipment selection, and motor/drive sizing using internal selection tools and engineering standards.
- Prepare complete, compliant techno-commercial proposals, including detailed scope of supply, performance data sheets, deviation lists, and cost estimation sheets.
- Coordinate closely with the design and technical engineering team in Germany and India to clarify customized design requirements and manufacturing feasibility.




- Interface with sub-vendors to obtain cost estimates for bought-out components (motors, dampers, actuators, instrumentation, silencers) to build accurate cost sheets.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and technical clarification discussions with clients, EPC contractors, and end-users.
- Hand over secured contracts seamlessly to the Project Management and Order Execution teams with verified documentation, cost sheets, and scope boundaries.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience: 3-10 years of experience in technical application engineering or techno-commercial proposal preparation for industrial fans, blowers, compressors, pumps, or related heavy rotating machinery.
- Technical Proficiency: Sound understanding of fluid machinery, aerodynamics, fan laws, motor characteristics, and heavy engineering fabrication standards.
- Tools & Software: Experience with equipment selection software, MS Office suite (advanced Excel is essential), and basic 2D CAD/drafting tools (AutoCAD).
- Communication Skills: Mandatory fluent English proficiency (written and verbal) to comfortably communicate and align on technical topics with clients and international colleagues in Germany.
- Attributes: High analytical rigor, methodical working approach, and ability to handle multi-project deadlines under tight turnaround schedules.
