Position: Application Support – L1 Intern

Internship Duration: 6 Months

Stipend/Salary: Unpaid Internship – No salary/stipend will be provided during the 6-month internship period.

We are looking for a motivated fresher/intern to join our Application Support team. The candidate will work as an L1 Support resource, assisting with incident management, application monitoring, ticket handling, basic troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Log and monitor Incident and Service Request tickets received through calls and emails.
- Act as the first point of contact (L1) for business users.
- Resolve basic incidents and service requests using available KEDB/SOPs.
- Route unresolved issues to appropriate L2 support teams.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the KEDB to improve resolution efficiency.
- Coordinate with Incident and Problem Management teams.
- Perform daily application production support activities, checklists, and housekeeping.
- Monitor applications, online/batch processes, system utilization, database size, disk space, and other application health parameters.
- Assist with application health checks, environment support, and maintenance.




- Support BCP procedures and other operational activities.
- Follow up on SLA adherence and assist in preparing operational reports.

Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Application/Production Support.
- Knowledge of Ticketing/IT Helpdesk tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
- Understanding of log analysis and basic OS commands.
- Basic understanding of Incident Management and Escalation Management.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to learn and work in a production support environment.

Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with basic knowledge of SQL, Linux/Windows commands, application monitoring, or IT support will be preferred.
- Candidates who can commit to the complete 6-month internship are preferred.
