Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Kafka, and L2 production support. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring applications, troubleshooting production issues, performing root-cause analysis, and ensuring application availability and stability.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 application/production support for enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and data-related issues.
- Monitor applications, logs, and system performance using Splunk / Dynatrace.
- Work with Kafka for message monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Use Python for scripting, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform incident analysis, RCA, and problem management.
- Monitor application health, alerts, batch jobs,



and interfaces.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and other support teams for issue resolution.
- Handle incidents according to defined SLA and escalation procedures.
- Maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Participate in deployment, release, and production change activities.
