As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to streamline support processes and improve system uptime.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on issue resolution and system improvements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure As Code (IaC).
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools related to Infrastructure As Code.
- Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.




- Familiarity with scripting languages and version control systems to support Infrastructure As Code practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible.
- Build and enhance automation workflows for large enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes across Storage, Network, Windows, Linux, and other platform services.
- Develop reusable and scalable Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation modules.
- Develop and maintain automation interfaces and dashboards using React JS.
- Integrate automation solutions with enterprise platforms and APIs, including ServiceNow.
- Work with cloud technologies and understand architecture across Azure and/or GCP.
- Use GitHub for source control, code collaboration, version management, and automation workflows.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, pipeline issues, and infrastructure-related problems.
- Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, and reporting within automation solutions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted automation and AIOps capabilities, including automation insights, recommendations, and controlled remediation.
- Hands on experience in implementing AI-assisted automation and AIOps capabilities, including automation insights, recommendations, and controlled remediation.

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Infrastructure As Code (IaC).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
