Role Summary The Application Security (AppSec) Engineer is responsible for integrating security into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through secure code reviews, application security assessments, vulnerability management, and security advisory activities. The role partners with development, DevOps, and platform teams to identify and mitigate application security risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform secure code reviews across modern application languages and frameworks.
- Conduct application security assessments and security design reviews.
- Identify, triage, prioritize, and support remediation of application security vulnerabilities.




- Manage and report on application security findings through the vulnerability management lifecycle.
- Support the adoption of secure coding practices and AppSec controls within DevSecOps processes.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to improve the security posture of applications and services.
- Support security tooling, monitoring, and reporting across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date security, operational, and technical documentation.

Skills & Experience

- Experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, Cyber Security, or Software Engineering.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices, SDLC, and OWASP Top 10.
- Experience with code review, vulnerability management, and application security testing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
