**Micro Mech Instruments (MMI) is looking for an Application Engineer to support installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of laboratory and engineering equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test and commission laboratory and testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues.
- Work with sensors, controllers, relays, valves and measurement systems.
- Assist customers during equipment installation and operation.
- Provide technical support and explain equipment operation to customers.
- Support testing of battery, EV, hydrogen, fuel-cell and automation equipment.
- Perform basic electrical wiring and mechanical assembly when required.
- Work with communication interfaces such as RS485 and Modbus.
- Prepare basic test reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with the engineering and service team.
- Travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning and service when required.
Required Skills
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, EEE, ECE, Instrumentation or Mechatronics.
- 0–2 years of experience; freshers can apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of sensors and instrumentation.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
