nJob Overview

nWe are looking for a Data Analyst with strong experience in data analysis, data lake environments, Spark, MongoDB, APIs, and reporting. The resource should have a good understanding of commercial banking data structures and the ability to analyze data across multiple banking domains, including Mainframe, CCM, Payments, Cards, Deposits, and Lending.

nKey Responsibilities

- Analyze and interpret data within the Citizens Data Lake environment.
n
- Understand and work with data structures across various commercial banking systems.
n
- Perform data analysis using Apache Spark and MongoDB.
n
- Work with APIs to extract, integrate, and validate data from different systems.
n
- Develop and maintain data reports and provide meaningful insights to business stakeholders.
n
- Understand data relationships and mappings between different source systems.
n
- Analyze data corresponding to:
n
- Mainframe
n
- CCM
n
- Payments – ACH, FED,



etc.
n
- Cards
n
- Deposits
n
- Lending
n
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting across different data sources.
n
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand data requirements and resolve data-related issues.

nRequired Skills

- Strong Data Analysis experience.
n
- Understanding of Data Lake architecture and data structures.
n
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
n
- Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
n
- Good understanding of REST APIs / API-based data integration.
n
- Experience in reporting and data analysis.
n
- Strong SQL and data querying skills.
n
- Ability to understand complex data structures and relationships.
n
- Solid understanding of banking/financial data, particularly commercial banking.
