Monthly take-home salary: ₹40,000–₹60,000 — up to ₹60,000, based on demonstrated capability and relevant experience. The offer will include a salary breakdown.

Working schedule: Monday to Saturday; second and fourth Saturdays off. Sundays off.

Shift timing: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (9-hour shift)

Skills: Kotlin, native Android, UI automation, accessibility services, Android lifecycle and permissions, ADB, logcat, API integration, local persistence, Git and signed releases.

Own the reliability of Android automation software running on devices and emulators. You will improve existing native components, diagnose failures, integrate execution with backend services and ensure that reported outcomes match what actually happened.

This is a native engineering role requiring Kotlin, Android lifecycle knowledge and practical device debugging. You will work alongside backend, integration and browser automation engineers. Company-provided AI coding tools support the work.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Kotlin components for authorised UI automation and device interaction.
- Handle lifecycle changes, permissions, background execution, interruptions and recovery.
- Diagnose device/emulator problems using ADB, logs and reproducible scenarios.




- Integrate job execution and result reporting with backend APIs, with durable state and sensible retries.
- Improve state detection, timeout handling and truthful success/failure reporting.
- Maintain tested builds, secure credential handling, signing and controlled rollouts.
- Plan changes as tracked tasks and document tests, evidence and operating notes before closure.

Required skills and experience

- Production Kotlin and native Android experience, including services, lifecycle, permissions and concurrency.
- Hands-on native UI automation or accessibility-service development and a clear understanding of platform constraints.
- Strong ADB, logcat and debugging skills across real Android devices and emulators, including remote device diagnosis and reproducible failure reports.
- API integration, local persistence, recovery and automated testing experience.
- Git review and release practices, including build/signing security and safe handling of sensitive information.
- Clear written English for reproduction steps, technical plans, test results and handover notes.
- Examples of independently diagnosing a failure and improving a solution after review.

Experience with cross-platform app bridges, device fleets or repeatable automation test environments is practical. We will assess native engineering and recovery skills directly through a small provided sample.
