Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre and anaesthesia workstation before surgical procedures.

- Assist the Anaesthesiologist during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anaesthesia.

- Check and ensure the availability and proper functioning of anaesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, oxygen supply, suction equipment, and other related equipment.

- Prepare and arrange anaesthesia equipment, circuits, airway devices, emergency drugs, and consumables as instructed.

- Assist with airway management procedures, including preparation of ET tubes, laryngoscopes, masks, and other airway equipment.

- Monitor and maintain the required stock of anaesthesia drugs, consumables, and equipment.

- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and maintenance of reusable anaesthesia equipment as per hospital protocols.

- Assist in shifting and positioning patients safely before and after procedures.

- Support the surgical and anaesthesia team during emergency procedures.

- Maintain proper documentation, checklists, equipment logs, and records related to anaesthesia services.

- Ensure availability of emergency equipment, including Ambu bags, suction, oxygen, and resuscitation equipment.

- Follow infection-control practices,



biomedical waste management procedures, and patient-safety protocols.

- Coordinate with OT nurses, surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

- Ensure proper handover of equipment, supplies, and patient-related information between shifts.

- Follow hospital SOPs, NABH standards, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of OT and anaesthesia procedures

- Good understanding of anaesthesia equipment and airway devices

- Ability to assist during emergency situations

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Knowledge of infection-control and sterilization practices

- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure OT setting

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, or equivalent

- Experience: 1–5 years of relevant OT/Anaesthesia experience preferred

- Freshers: Can be considered based on hospital requirements

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
