Role & responsibilities

- Plan and execute internal audits across various business functions and projects.

- Conduct process and compliance audits to identify control gaps, financial risks, and process inefficiencies.

- Review financial transactions, expenses, procurement, payments, revenue, receivables, and other key business processes.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend corrective measures.

- Verify compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and management guidelines.

- Perform vouching, verification, reconciliations, and transaction testing as part of audit assignments.

- Identify financial and operational risks and suggest practical solutions for risk mitigation.

- Prepare detailed audit observations, findings, and reports for management review.

- Follow up with respective departments on audit observations and ensure timely closure of action points.

- Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Procurement, CRM, Projects, and other departments during audit activities.

- Assist in developing and improving internal control systems and audit procedures.





- Conduct special audits/investigations as assigned by management.

- Maintain proper documentation and audit working papers for all assignments.

Preferred candidate profile

- CA / CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

- 36 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, preferably in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or related industries.

- Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, audit procedures, and accounting principles.

- Hands-on experience in process audits, financial audits, compliance audits, and operational audits.

- Good understanding of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and financial processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP; knowledge of audit tools will be an advantage.

- Valuable communication and report-writing skills.

- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
