GalaxEye is hiring an AIT Lead for DG-2 Nexus, a kg class smallsat. You will own assembly, integration and test of the spacecraft bus mechanical and electrical and of the integrated spacecraft across STM, QM and FM builds.

Responsibilities

- Own the satellite AIT plan, integration sequence and build flow across STM, QM and FM

- Own the AIT schedule and critical path; define facility, cleanroom, handling and GSE requirements

- Lead mechanical integration structure build-up, panel closeout, deck population, appendage stow

- Lead electrical integration harness routing, connector mating, continuity and isolation checks, power-up sequencing

- Own integration of subsystems delivered by external teams, including interface acceptance criteria

- Own satellite-level environmental test campaigns: vibration, shock, TVAC and thermal balance, EMI/EMC, mass properties, deployment testing

- Write and own integration procedures, test procedures and test reports; chair Test Readiness and Post-Test Reviews

- Own the NCR/MRB process, as-built configuration records, FAIR of incoming hardware, and limited-life item tracking

- Own workmanship, cleanliness, contamination control and ESD compliance across the campaign

- Lead the AIT team of integration technicians and test engineers; interface with QA on buy-off





- Support launch campaign planning and lead the deployed team at the launch site

Requirements

- 7+ years in satellite AIT, including at least one spacecraft integrated and delivered to launch under your ownership

- Hands-on satellite-level environmental testing vibration, TVAC, mass properties

- Fluent in both mechanical and electrical integration; comfortable with harness, connectors and power-up

- Proven experience running a cleanroom integration campaign

- Has authored AIT plans and test procedures that were executed as written

- Has run an NCR/MRB process and closed real non-conformances

- Team leadership experience, including technicians

- Solid configuration management and as-built discipline

Desirable

- Smallsat experience in the kg class

- Launch campaign experience, deployed on site

- Deployment mechanism testing including zero-g offload

- ECSS-Q-ST-70 and NASA-STD-8739 workmanship standards

- Test house relationships in India

- Propulsion integration and associated safety process

Qualifications

- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering
