Bargad.ai is an advanced AI and Machine Learning (ML) based solution designed to detect and prevent identity fraud. It is a smart and flexible platform built for industries including Banking & Financial Services (BFSI), Social Media, Gaming, and E-Commerce.

We are looking for an AI/ML & DevOps Engineer who can develop AI-enabled applications as well as deploy and manage applications on servers. The candidate will work across AI/ML development, RAG-based chatbots, backend applications, server deployment and client deployments.

This role is suitable for a person who enjoys both development and deployment and can take ownership of an application from development to production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop applications based on business and product requirements.
- Build AI/ML-enabled applications and solutions.
- Develop and customize RAG-based chatbots and LLM applications.
- Build chatbot features such as login, chat, document upload and knowledge base management.
- Work with PDF, TXT, Excel and other documents for AI knowledge bases.
- Develop and manage RAG pipelines, embeddings and vector databases.
- Integrate LLMs, AI models, APIs and third-party services.
- Develop backend APIs required for AI and other applications.
- Deploy applications on Bargad's servers.
- Deploy applications and AI solutions in client environments.
- Manage Linux-based servers and application environments.
- Configure applications, dependencies, domains, SSL and environment variables.
- Manage Docker containers and application services.
- Monitor applications and server performance.
- Troubleshoot application, server and deployment issues.
- Work with other developers to deploy their applications on Bargad servers.




- Manage application releases, updates and production deployments.
- Support client technical deployments and resolve deployment-related issues.
- Participate in client technical discussions related to application architecture, AI/ML, deployment and technology.
- Understand technical requirements discussed with clients and provide technical support to the Product/Technology team.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications, AI solutions and deployments.

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Valuable understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and RAG-based applications.
- Knowledge of embeddings and vector databases.
- Experience with REST APIs and backend development.
- Good knowledge of Linux and server management.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and application deployment.
- Experience with Nginx or similar web servers.
- Good understanding of networking, DNS, SSL and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Experience with Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other databases.
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to independently take an application from development to deployment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to know:

- Experience with Llama Index or similar RAG frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience managing VPS, dedicated servers or cloud environments.
- Experience deploying AI/ML applications in production.
- Experience working with enterprise or BFSI applications is an advantage.
- Experience participating in client technical discussions is an advantage.
- Candidates based in Mumbai are preferred/eligible to apply.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
