What will you be doing as an SAP AI Agent Developer/ Consultant @ delaware India?

As an SAP AI Agent Developer /Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade SAP AI Agents and AI-powered business assistants leveraging SAP Joule Studio, SAP AI Foundation, SAP AI Core, SAP Generative AI Hub, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Business AI Platform (BAIP).

You will work closely with SAP Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Integration Specialists, and Business Stakeholders to build intelligent agents that automate business processes, provide contextual business insights, and enhance user productivity across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

You will participate in end-to-end SAP AI initiatives, including requirements discovery, solution architecture, agent design, prompt engineering, grounding strategy, orchestration development, integration development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The role requires a combination of SAP expertise, AI engineering skills, and cloud-native development capabilities.





As part of delaware's growing AI practice, you will contribute to the development of reusable AI accelerators, agent frameworks, MCP tools, and industry-specific AI solutions. You will continuously enhance your expertise in SAP Business AI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, SAP BTP, and emerging AI technologies to deliver innovative and scalable solutions to our global customers.

We are looking for following skills in our new colleague.

Mandatory Skills

- 3-8 years of experience in SAP, Enterprise Application Development, AI Development, or SAP BTP projects.
- Hands-on experience with Python development.
- Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based application development.
- Knowledge of SAP Joule Studio, AI Agents, Conversational AI, or similar agent platforms.
- Problem-solving aptitude and willingness to learn a new platform stack on the job
- Experience consuming REST APIs, OData Services, JSON APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Understanding of SAP AI Foundation, SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub, or related AI services.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Embeddings, and LLM concepts.
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies.




- Strong problem-solving capability and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA business processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
- Experience with SAP CAP, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, or SAP Integration Suite.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks.
- Experience developing MCP (Model Context Protocol) server tools and custom AI connectors.
- Familiarity with SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Event Mesh.
- Experience working with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or other enterprise-grade LLM platforms.
- Understanding of AI governance, Responsible AI, security, and compliance requirements.
