About the Opportunity A B2B software provider specializing in Industrial AI and Manufacturing Optimization is looking for an experienced AI Architect to work directly with large US-based OEMs and manufacturing enterprises.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role focused on identifying, architecting, and deploying AI solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and operations.

The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders, business leaders, technical teams, and domain experts to take AI initiatives from initial discovery and prototyping through deployment and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

- Work directly with OEMs and large manufacturing enterprises on enterprise AI initiatives.
- Identify high-value AI opportunities across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and operations.
- Translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions.
- Architect and build applied AI solutions using:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Agentic AI
- Multimodal AI
- Machine Learning
- Modern AI technologies
- Lead initiatives from discovery and prototyping through production deployment and adoption.
- Collaborate with executives, business leaders, technical teams, and domain specialists.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and assess their potential enterprise value.
- Shape customer-specific AI solutions and reusable vertical AI capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with architecture, prototyping, and problem-solving.

Required Qualifications




- Experience as an AI Architect, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent senior technical role.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Strong system architecture and solution-design experience.
- Deep understanding of modern AI technologies.
- Experience with LLMs, machine learning, multimodal AI, and/or agentic technologies.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to understand complex manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Willingness to travel extensively, primarily to the US and Italy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong hands-on engineering and prototyping mindset.
- Experience taking AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers or manufacturing organizations.
