About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager – Agency Channel to drive business growth through the development and management of an agency distribution network.

The candidate will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, activating and managing insurance advisors/agents, while achieving assigned business and revenue targets.

This is a target-driven role requiring strong sales leadership, relationship management and team-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Recruit and onboard new Insurance Advisors / Agents through various sourcing channels.
- Build, develop and maintain a productive agency network.
- Generate business through the agency channel and ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Train and motivate advisors on products, sales processes and customer handling.
- Regularly monitor advisor performance, productivity and business conversion.
- Develop strong relationships with agents and support them in generating new customers.
- Conduct regular meetings, field visits and performance reviews with the agency team.
- Identify opportunities for business development and market expansion.
- Ensure proper follow-up on leads and support the team in converting prospects into customers.
- Drive advisor activation, retention and productivity.
- Maintain healthy relationships with existing customers and advisors.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance requirements and regulatory guidelines.




- Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on business performance to management.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing will be an advantage.
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in insurance, banking, financial services, agency sales, direct sales or related industries.
- Candidates with experience in Life Insurance Agency Channel will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to recruit and manage a team/network of advisors.
- Strong target orientation and business-development mindset.
- Comfortable with field work and local market development.
- Should be proactive, self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Compensation 25,000 – 65,000 per month + attractive performance incentives

Compensation will depend on experience, current salary, relevant industry exposure and interview performance.
