Role Description The Advocate will work full time on-site at the Mumbai office, providing end-to-end legal support in property and related matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents such as deeds, agreements, and assisting in advising clients on property law and registration procedures. The role involves appearing before appropriate authorities or forums as required, coordinating with clients, counterparties, and government offices, and ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.

The Advocate will also conduct legal research,



assist with due diligence and document vetting, and support the continuous improvement of internal templates and processes. Collaboration with the drafting team and clear communication with clients are essential for ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of property law and related statutes, with practical experience of registration procedures.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including deeds and agreements
- Ability to conduct legal research, perform document vetting, and support due diligence for property transactions.
- Effective client-facing skills, including clear communication, professional demeanor, and the ability to explain legal issues in simple terms.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Capability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; enrollment with a Bar Council is preferred.
- Comfort working on-site in Mumbai and collaborating with a young, agile team; prior experience in a drafting is an advantage.
