About 900 students learn ballet with us across seven centres. Every one of them started with a parent asking questions, on a call, on WhatsApp, or at our front desk. You would be the person who answers.
You will help families go from their first question to their first class. Most parents are new to this. They don't know which class suits their child. You find out what they need and help them choose. You will also keep our records in the CRM, look after families on the waitlist with regular updates, and support the team with day to day administration. For some classes, you will also step in as the student coordinator when needed.
What you'll do
- Talk to parents on phone, WhatsApp, email, Instagram and in person
- Explain classes, timings and fees
- Book trials and complete enrolments
- Follow up with families and note everything in the CRM
- Keep waitlisted families updated with regular messages, and offer them a place when a seat opens
- Support the team with administration: records, schedules, notices and parent queries
- Act as student coordinator for some classes, as and when required. You look after the students in class and are the contact for parents and teachers
- Tell us what parents keep asking, so we can fix the cause
What we're looking for
- Someone who is easy and pleasant to talk to
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, admissions or front office. Freshers with a great first impression can apply too
- Experience with a CRM (Freshdesk, Zoho, HubSpot or similar) is a plus for experienced candidates. We will train freshers
- Someone who keeps track of many follow ups
- Comfortable with Google Sheets
- Positive spoken and written English. Kannada or Hindi is a plus
- Comfortable with children and parents
- Based in Bangalore and able to join soon
You don't need to know ballet.
What you get
- Health insurance
- Paid leave and holidays
- Free yoga and BarreFIT classes
- Mobile and travel reimbursement
- A flat team where everyone works closely together and ideas are heard
Common questions
What are the hours?
Mostly weekdays at headquarters. Since the role includes admissions, administration and coordinating some classes, some weekend and evening work comes with it. We agree on your schedule and a weekday off when you join.
Will I travel to other centres every day?
No. You will mostly be at headquarters. When a class needs a coordinator, you will go to that centre, and we reimburse your travel.
Can I work from home?
Mostly not, because we work best together. We allow an occasional work from home day when you need quiet time.
I'm a fresher. Can I apply?
Yes. We first look at how well you talk and listen. Your first job is welcome here.
How to apply
Apply on Indeed and answer the two questions below. You can also send a 60 second voice note to (phone hidden). Just tell us who you are, what you have studied or worked on so far, and why you would like to join us. Freshers, please don't worry about work experience. Your studies, projects or anything you are proud of is enough. We will call selected candidates within 24 hours.
