Role Description The Admissions Head is a full-time, in office role based at Chitkara International School in Chandigarh. The role involves overseeing the entire admissions process, including inquiry management, counseling prospective parents, conducting campus tours, and ensuring a positive applicant experience.

The Admissions

Head will develop and implement admission strategies, coordinate with academic and administrative teams, and maintain accurate records and reports on enrollment trends.



Daily responsibilities include guiding parents and students through admission procedures, organizing outreach events, and representing the school at education fairs and community engagements. The role also requires monitoring admission policies for compliance, continuously improving processes, and contributing to the school’s overall growth and reputation.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Education and understanding of school systems, policies, and academic programs.
- Excellent Communication skills, including counseling, presentation, and interpersonal abilities with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in Educational Leadership, with the capacity to lead teams, manage processes, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and relationship-building.
- Experience in admissions, counseling, or school administration, preferably in a K–12 or international school setting.
- Strong organizational, data management, and reporting skills, with comfort using admissions and CRM software.
- Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, manage peak admission cycles, and collaborate effectively with faculty and staff.
