About the Role

We are looking for a confident, target-oriented and result-driven Admission Counsellor to handle student enquiries, counsel prospective students and convert genuine leads into admissions.

This is an admission conversion role — not a conventional telecalling job.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding students' career goals, explaining suitable courses, following up with leads and achieving monthly admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle incoming student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp and walk-ins.
- Understand students' educational background, career goals and requirements.
- Counsel students and recommend suitable courses/programs.
- Clearly explain course structure, duration, fees, batches, career opportunities and admission process.
- Follow up consistently with interested prospects until the enquiry reaches a clear outcome.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups and admissions.
- Convert qualified leads into paid admissions.
- Conduct counselling sessions professionally and confidently.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding batch schedules and course-related information.
- Meet daily calling, follow-up and monthly admission targets.
- Maintain professional communication with students and parents.
- Participate in admission campaigns, seminars, career counselling sessions and promotional activities.
- Provide regular reports on lead status, follow-ups and conversions.

Performance Expectations This position is target-driven.

The selected candidate will be expected to:

- Make a sufficient number of quality calls every working day.
- Follow up with leads within the assigned timeline.
- Maintain proper lead records.
- Attend counselling sessions punctually.
- Work towards monthly admission targets.
- Take ownership of assigned leads instead of waiting for instructions.
- Demonstrate measurable improvement in counselling and conversion performance.

Repeated failure to follow up with leads, poor attendance,



lack of seriousness, inaccurate reporting or consistently poor performance may lead to performance review or termination as per company policy. Who Can Apply?

Freshers are welcome. Prior experience is NOT mandatory if you have the right attitude and communication skills.

We are looking for candidates who are:

- Confident and comfortable speaking with students and parents.
- Good at communication and convincing people.
- Comfortable making phone calls and WhatsApp follow-ups.
- Target-oriented and motivated by results.
- Willing to learn sales and counselling techniques.
- Able to handle rejection and continue following up professionally.
- Punctual, disciplined and responsible.
- Comfortable working in a target-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate.
- Candidates from BBA, B.Com, BA, BCA, MBA or related backgrounds may apply.
- Previous experience in education counselling, sales, telecalling, business development or customer handling will be an advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.

Freshers Freshers will receive training on courses, counselling techniques, lead handling and admission processes.

However, training should not be confused with a non-performance role. After the training period, the candidate will be expected to independently handle leads and work towards assigned targets.
