Project Role : Public Services - Salesforce Product Owner

Project Role Description : We are seeking an experienced and influential Salesforce Product Owner with strong public services domain expertise. In this role, you will own the product backlog, prioritize features and releases, and translate business needs into actionable Salesforce requirements that support provider operations, provider portals, member portals, broker portals, and broader healthcare workflows.

You will work closely with business leaders, architects, administrators, and delivery teams to maximize business value, ensure release readiness, and drive user adoption.

Must have : Product Ownership / Business Analysis / Consulting Experience

Good to have : Salesforce certifications and Agile / Product Owner certifications

Roles & Responsibilities: -

- Own and prioritize the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals, healthcare workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, architects, and delivery teams to define product vision, roadmap, release priorities, and measurable outcomes.
- Translate complex business needs into epics, features, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce solutions.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning support, requirement clarification, and user acceptance readiness to enable smooth delivery.
- Make day-to-day product decisions, resolve requirement ambiguities, and balance scope, timeline, and value during delivery.
- Define success metrics, monitor adoption and business value realization, and recommend enhancements based on user feedback and performance trends.




- Maintain transparent documentation for user stories, business rules, release notes, process changes, and support handover materials.
- Drive stakeholder communication, sprint reviews, demos, training alignment, and change management activities for successful adoption.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices.
- Acquire skills that have utility across Health industry groups.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Salesforce Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or Functional Consultant in Agile environments for 2-3 Salesforce implementations with Public Service clients.
- Strong understanding of Public Sector workflows, terminology, regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience in backlog management, user story writing, acceptance criteria definition, prioritization, and sprint ceremonies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Admin, Business Analyst, Scrum Product Owner / CSPO / SAFe POPM) are a plus.
- Education: 15 years of full-time education (bachelor's degree or equivalent required).

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Digital Front Door, CRM, Contact Center, Care Management, or related public-sector workflows.
- Firsthand experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, and ideally OmniStudio implementations in Salesforce.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to collaborate with distributed and cross-geographical teams.
- Exposure to release planning, user adoption tracking, and change management.
