- Domain Expertise:

Deep expertise in data engineering and AI/ML delivery using Palantir platforms (Foundry / AIP) and Airbus Skywise within the Aerospace & Defense (A&D;) sector. This role is part of Accenture GN's A&D; practice, supporting digital transformation programs that leverage advanced analytics and AI to drive smarter maintenance decisions, fleet performance optimization, and operational intelligence for aviation and defense clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building production-grade data products on Palantir Foundry and/or Airbus Skywise, strong programming skills in Python, and the ability to translate A&D; business problems into AI/ML-powered solutions. You will work directly with client data and operations teams to design, build, and deploy data platforms that create measurable operational impact.

Strong familiarity with Palantir Foundry architecture (ontologies, pipelines, transforms, code workbooks, applications) and/or Airbus Skywise (data integration, analytics modules, API usage). Demonstrated ability to deliver AI/ML use cases from concept to production in aviation or defense contexts. Exposure to A&D; domain — MRO, flight operations, or defense logistics — is strongly preferred.

Exposure to:

- Palantir Foundry & AIP Solution Development
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data solutions on Palantir Foundry for A&D; use cases — including predictive maintenance, fleet health monitoring, supply chain analytics, and mission readiness dashboards.
- Develop and maintain Foundry ontologies, pipeline datasets, transform logic (Python/PySpark), Code Workbook analyses, and Workshop/Slate application interfaces.
- Configure Palantir AIP for agentic AI workflows, LLM-integrated decision support, and operational AI use cases within MRO or defense contexts.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, access control, and governance standards within Palantir environments in compliance with client data policies.
- Support platform performance tuning, debugging, and production support for deployed Foundry data products.
- Airbus Skywise Platform & Aviation Data
- Integrate, analyze, and visualize aircraft operational data using the Airbus Skywise platform for airline MRO and fleet operations clients.
- Build Skywise analytics applications and configure Skywise data products, health algorithms, and API integrations with client MRO systems.




- Work with Skywise modules for predictive maintenance, aircraft health monitoring (AHM), and operational performance analytics.
- Ingest and process aviation data sources — ACARS messages, FDR/QAR data, CMC logs, Aircraft Health Monitoring streams, and ATA chapter-coded fault data — into unified analytical data products.
- Data Engineering & Integration
- Design and implement robust data integration pipelines connecting heterogeneous A&D; source systems — ERP (IFS, SAP), CMMS (AMOS, TRAX), flight data recorders, sensor networks, and IoT platforms — into unified data products.
- Apply data modelling best practices for aviation and defense datasets: serialized part tracking, work order history, flight event logs, fault codes, and maintenance records.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Spark, or Foundry-native transforms with appropriate data quality controls, monitoring, and alerting.
- Manage and document data schemas, lineage, and metadata to support auditability and regulatory traceability requirements in A&D; environments.
- AI/ML Model Development & Deployment
- Develop and deploy AI/ML models for A&D; use cases: predictive failure detection, remaining useful life (RUL) estimation, anomaly detection on sensor data, demand forecasting for spare parts, and NLP-based processing of maintenance logs and technical records.
- Apply appropriate modelling techniques (classification, regression, time-series, survival analysis, deep learning) and validate performance against A&D; operational requirements.
- Integrate ML models into Palantir Foundry or Skywise workflows to enable real-time or near-real-time operational decision support.
- Maintain model monitoring, retraining pipelines, and performance dashboards to ensure models remain accurate and reliable in production.
- A&D; Domain Application & Business Value
- Collaborate with MRO domain SMEs, maintenance engineers, and operations teams to translate A&D; business challenges into data and AI solution requirements.
- Map relevant A&D; data assets — fleet configuration, maintenance histories, part genealogy, flight data, sensor telemetry — to analytical use cases and KPI frameworks.
- Define measurable business value from data products:



reduction in unscheduled maintenance events, improvement in parts availability, TAT reduction, or cost per flight hour optimization.
- Conduct workshops with client data and operations stakeholders to validate findings, demo working solutions, and drive adoption of data-driven workflows.
- Cloud, Architecture & Technical Environment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment of analytics workloads in cloud or hybrid environments common in A&D.;
- Awareness of A&D; data security, classification, and sovereignty requirements — including data handling for ITAR/EAR controlled information and defense-grade data environments.
- Experience working with up-to-date data stack tooling: version control (Git), CI/CD for data pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and workflow orchestration.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture patterns for integrating Palantir Foundry or Skywise with existing enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and API ecosystems.
- Generative AI & Agentic AI (Good to have)
- Exposure to Generative AI applications in A&D;: automated generation of maintenance reports, technical document summarization, AI-assisted troubleshooting, and conversational interfaces for maintenance crews.
- Familiarity with Palantir AIP agentic workflows and how LLM-powered agents can automate data exploration, root cause analysis, and operational decision-making in MRO contexts.
- Awareness of responsible AI principles, explainability, and safety assurance requirements when deploying AI in safety-critical aviation and defense environments.
