Role Description This is a remote internship role for an Accountant at Virasa. The intern will assist with daily accounting tasks such as recording financial transactions, updating ledgers, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include supporting accounts payable and receivable processes, helping with reconciliations, and preparing basic financial summaries or reports under supervision. The role also involves working with spreadsheets or accounting software, organizing financial records, and collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with internal guidelines.



The intern will receive guidance from senior staff while learning standard accounting practices and improving professional skills.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits, financial statements, and basic bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and familiarity with accounting or ERP software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Robust attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to organize financial records systematically.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with remote team members and follow instructions clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks with supervision.
- Ethical mindset with respect for confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Interest in learning about international business environments; familiarity with or willingness to learn about Thai business practices is a plus.
