About GiLo: At GiLo, we are building India’s first Low GI staples brand focused on improving everyday food without changing eating habits. We are backed by a well-known global celebrity as a co-founder, who is actively involved in building the brand and business. We are in the early stage of building the company across sourcing, product, supply chain, and distribution. The focus is on building strong fundamentals and executing consistently in a fast-moving setup.

Working Model: On-site

Location: Bangalore, HSR Layout

Work Week: Monday to Saturday

Timings: 10am - 7pm

Budget: up to 6 LPA (depending on experience & role fit)

Experience : 2-5 years

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who can independently manage day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:





- Manage daily accounting transactions using Tally.
- Maintain books of accounts and financial records.
- Process purchase orders and vendor invoices.
- Perform data entry and bookkeeping accurately.
- Maintain Goods Receipt (GR) records and related documentation.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain financial paperwork and filing systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams for finance-related documentation.
- Support monthly closing and audit requirements.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Tally is mandatory.
- Robust knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
- Experience handling purchase orders, invoices, and GR documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred:

- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer goods companies.
- Working knowledge of GST and basic statutory compliance.
