About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant (CPA/CA) to join our client's dynamic team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, allowing you to manage your responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support the organization’s growth and stability.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a CPA or CA certification with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in accounting and finance. You should have a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and international accounting standards. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms is essential.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are critical for success in this role. Additionally, strong communication skills are necessary to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and examine financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness,



and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including managing accounts payable and receivable, to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with local and federal tax laws, staying updated on changes in tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify discrepancies, prevent fraud, and improve internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare detailed reports to inform strategic decision-making.
