Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Jamshedpur. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing vouchers and invoices. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, and monitoring cash flow and bank reconciliations.

The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, including GST/TDS calculations and filings as applicable.



The role also includes coordinating with internal teams, auditors, and vendors, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and maintaining accurate documentation for all financial records.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Familiarity with Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role; experience in a corporate or SME environment is an advantage.
