Job Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts.

- Manage purchase and sales entries related to gold jewellery.

- Maintain records of gold, silver, jewellery stock and transactions.

- Handle cash, bank, receipts, payments and petty cash entries.

- Reconcile bank accounts and ledger balances regularly.

- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, debit notes and credit notes.

- Maintain party/customer and supplier ledgers and follow up on outstanding payments.

- Handle TDS, GST and other statutory accounting requirements.

- Coordinate with the audit and accounts team for monthly and yearly closing.

- Verify jewellery-related transactions, including weight, purity, wastage, making charges and other applicable charges.

- Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions.

- Support management with financial reports and account-related information.

Requirements

- Experience:



2–5 years

- B.Com / M.Com or relevant qualification.

- Strong knowledge of day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.

- Hands-on experience in Tally and MS Excel.

- Knowledge of GST, TDS, PT and other statutory compliances.

- Experience in bank reconciliation, vendor/customer reconciliation, AP & AR.

- Ability to prepare MIS reports, ledgers and financial statements.

- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and consultants.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and numerical skills.

- Ability to independently manage accounting activities and meet deadlines.

- Work Location: Bengaluru

- Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 days)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
