Salary: ₹35,000–₹75,000 per month, based on relevant experience and skills.

About the role

MACLEC is a renewable energy and engineering company developing Surface Hydrokinetic Turbine (SHKT) technology. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounts, maintain accurate financial records, and support taxation, reporting, and project accounting at our head office.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers, and books of accounts in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Record purchases, sales, receipts, payments, expenses, invoices, and vouchers accurately.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, track vendor payments and customer collections, and reconcile outstanding balances.
- Prepare bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare supporting data and reconciliations for GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance; coordinate with the CA, auditors, and relevant teams.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense statements, and financial schedules; support month-end and year-end closing.
- Maintain inventory, purchase order,



and project/site expense records with supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, auditors, and internal departments, and maintain organised records for audits and reporting.

Qualifications and skills
- B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance), or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Relevant practical experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
- Working proficiency in Tally ERP/TallyPrime and Microsoft Excel.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
