Role Description The Accountant role at Art Bord is a full-time, on-site position based in Gundardehi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements.

Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and cash accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. The role also involves monitoring budgets, supporting internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.



The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management to provide financial insights that support decision-making and cost control.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, including general ledger management, journal entries, and preparation of balance sheets and income statements.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Ability to use accounting software and spreadsheets effectively; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certification (such as CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably within manufacturing or textiles, is a plus.
